Over-50s vote for the first Silver Travel Awards – Shortlist Announced
If you’re a regular visitor to the Quingo Scooter Users Area you will no doubt be aware of the inaugural Silver Travel Awards taking place on June 4th. With the voting now closed, the shortlist has been unveiled that will honour some of the most popular suppliers and destinations in the over-50s market.
Making the Countryside Accessible to All
The Quingo team were interested to watch a recent episode of the BBC’s Countryfile which discussed ways of making the countryside more accessible. As advocates of accessibility, this interested us greatly, particularly as many people with limited mobility often find they can’t fully enjoy the great outdoors as much as they may like.
The Red Wheelies bow out after 15 fantastic years of positive MS awareness
Welcome back to the Quingo Scooter Users Area. The Red Wheelies – the world’s first mobility scooter formation display team – have broken world records, wowed the audience on Britain’s Got Talent and completed more than 500 miles of scootering for charity. Now, after 15 exciting years, the Red Wheelies have decided to call it a day having achieved their goal of raising awareness about Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and raising funds for their local MS Therapy Center.
