WHICH ARENAS ARE ACCESSIBLE? 1

Which Arenas are Accessible?

At Quingo Scooters we know how important it is to be able to go out and enjoy yourself without having to worry about the accessibility of a venue. When you’ve booked your event, whether it be a music concert or other kind of performance, it’s great to be able to look forward to it with no worries about your mobility scooter!

There are some great accessible arenas up and down the UK, and in this post we’ve put together some of the best so that you can get booking your next event!

Manchester Arena

The third largest arena in the European Union, Manchester Arena has a capacity of 21,000. It’s rare that a UK tour by major artists misses out this northern venue! Manchester Arena is dedicated to providing facilities to assist customers with access requirements. These include:

  • A box office window with a lowered counter and loop system
  • Concession stands with lowered counters
  • At least one accessible toilet in each set of facilities
  • Lift access to the NCP car park and Victoria Station

There is also an Accessibility Team at Manchester Arena who you should contact to purchase your tickets from directly.  With the team you can share any requirements you may have and get any other information you need to book your accessible seats. The team can be reached on 0161 950 5229, or if you’re local you can pop down to the box office in person. Alternatively, there is information online regarding accessibility at the arena.

  • Dropped counter positions to assist mobility scooter users
  • Blue badge car parking located near the entrance

More information about how to book your accessible ticket for your chosen concert can be found on the accessibility page of the Wembley Arena website. You’ll also find seating plans and box office information here.
